In 1996 Circle Press was 30 years old and to mark the occasion a double retrospective exhibition was organized in the Lyttelton Foyer at the Royal National Theatre and in the Poetry Library at the Festival Hall.
Cathy Courtney wrote a lively history of the Press. Published in a limited edition of 1000 it is full of illustrations, and a pop-up insert of an alphabet poem by Roy Fisher.
